We have just finished the first part of turning Cesarotti.com English to launch Cesarotti in the United Kingdom! We think it’s great and hope you do too. So if you are a Brit, a Scotsman, a Welsh or an Irish you will soon be able to design your own shirts from London to Edinburgh to Dublin just like Bond, James Bond. Jolly good we say!

Morning coffee and Klarna Faktura!

Morning to the world our friends,

It is a lovely morning in Sweden and we are currently sitting in the new office at Vasaplatsen 9 in Gothenburg, where you are more than welcome to drop in for a coffee anytime and discuss shirts or place a couple of orders of your own.

We have this morning finished the deal with Klarna so that you from next week can get your shirts straight from Cesarotti and not be billed until later on. We will start out in Sweden but will of course add it to you guys in Germany, UK, France, Denmark etc.

Cesarotti is now run out of Sweden as usual after having been in Hong Kong during the last couple of months! A lot has been done and we are now getting ready for 2011 when Cesarotti will put on it’s big jacket and start growing. We are hoping you want to be a part of it as we att Cesarotti are all very excited!

Myself and Nick are leaving Hong Kong in 3 days to go back to Sweden where Cesarotti’s work will continue from the “Home Field”! Just sent out samples from the new Cesarotti shirt collection to Alun in UK and Jules in France. Will update with two photos from the latest photoshoot of it! Translation to English almost completely done.

See you in Sweden (if we make it back, lucky we’re not flying to London, phew! ;)

Morning from Hong Kong! We are back from Shanghai after a flight where we after an hour received the lovely intercom from the pilot that “We are experiencing problems. Please remain seated!”. Suppose this is the back side with flying blacklisted Chinese airlines. But back in one piece!

We are at the moment looking into the translation of Cesarotti.com whilst constantly checking the weather updates from Europe. What happened to the weather! All the airports are closed up and we are supposed to be leaving Hong Kong in 1 week! Gawd, well worst case scenario is Christmas at Amsterdam’s airport which could be worse. Or could it? We are tracking the shipments going out from the Cesarotti factory to our customers to try to get everything there as soon as possible. Nick is on the line with DHL as we speak to get a good picture of the situation.

Done in Shanghai this time around!

It’s turning into Christmas and we are heading out of Shanghai back to Hong Kong after a few days of good work over here. Even though we do have one of our Swedish members in the Cesarotti team, Alex, here 24-7 to make sure everything runs smoothly it is always good to show up every now and then and meet the Tailor team. Alex is doing a fantastic job!

We are now going back to Hong Kong where we are looking into the next step in Cesarotti - going a little global. At the moment the website is only in Swedish but since Alun is now taking Cesarotti to the UK and Jules is taking it to France there is a clear need to translate into English and French! That’s what’s next!

Fabric check at the warehouse

Just got back from having been to our fabric warehouse where Cesarotti’s fabrics are stocked and stored. We looked into some new arrivals which will be added to Cesarotti.com in the near future and it all looked very good. At the moment we have some fairly wild fabrics in stock but we know that a lot of you also want to have the possibility of making shirts in more standardized fabrics so we are now looking into launching a range of those (50-100 pcs) in more plain, striped and checkered cotton. I brought a new fabric book with me back and will look into the possibilities tonight over a cup of tea because where we are staying, in a hotel on Beijing Rd./Jiangsu Zhong Rd., they do serve the best cup of tea!

Leaving Seoul - back to Shanghai!

Hey,

We’re just heading out of Seoul and back to Shanghai to spend a couple of days in China to check up on Cesarotti’s shirt production in the area, look into some new fabrics we are to bring in as well as add some new design features.
After having checked out the street fashion in Seoul over the last two days, to see what Cesarotti can do over here, we landed in a bar with a bunch of South Koreans last night. They certainly are a fantastic people! Let’s hope North Korea doesn’t do anything stupid here. We are actually feeling the tension over here since the bombings, maybe because we headed up to the North Korean border yesterday and realized we were the only ones stupid enough to go there now, so I think it’s time to leave the Korean peninsula for now for some production work in the safe Chinese Mainland.

Bye bye Seoul for now!

Cesarotti in South Korea

At the moment in location South Korea to check out the potential in Seoul and I must say there is certainly potential. People look great and wear all sorts of crazy garments. We just arrived to a cold Seoul after having spent a quick day in Shanghai where we met up with the Cesarotti Tailor team for dinner. Everything is going well but with the weather situation ravaging in Europe it seems that DHL and the other couriers are having some trouble delivering on time at the moment. Hence we try to squeeze the production time further, which we discussed over dinner last night. So, now in Seoul to see what can be done over here!

After having had a sit down with Alun Attwood and Jules...

After having had a sit down with Alun Attwood and Jules Hibon here in Hong Kong last Thursday night (surprisingly at a Starbucks, this time in Lan Kwai Fong, we know - we drink too much coffee) it looks like Cesarotti.com is expanding to England and France. These gentlemen have a great deal of experience and both now want to bring Cesarotti’s shirts to their own crowd (brits and frenchies ;). Therefore we will start keeping the blog in English (our French isn’t too good, sorry!) so that our new Cesarotti friends can follow us here. Swedes, we know your english is good enough!

Custom-made shirts are now being designed for England and France to be brought back by Alun and Jules (who’s name is Howard on Facebook, don’t ask us why) at the start of January. Very exciting indeed!
